Ralph Edwards Room

Radio and TV show host Ralph EdwardsRalph Edwards came to town in 1950 when the town changed its name to Truth or Consequences in honor of the 10th anniversary of the radio show by that name. There is a room honoring him, his contributions to the town, and the Ralph Edwards Fiesta (Fiesta continues to be held every year during the first weekend in May - for info see www.torcfiesta.com).

Clips from former Truth or Consequences television shows, clips from early Fiestas, and a memory feature with Ralph Edwards are shown in this room throughout the day. Memorabilia from early Fiestas and from Edwards’ life are on display, as well as photographs of the many stars who came with him over the years, the Fiesta queens over the years, and various events held.
